Pastor of Worship, Media, and Communications: Mark Zubert | Minnesota Worship Pastor

Mark started as the Osseo Church worship guy in Summer 2009. Mark began noodling with music as a toddler on his Grandmother’s organ and has been grinding out sweet tunes ever since.

After graduating from Osseo Senior High, Mark absorbed a year of ministry training with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), then jumped head-first into youth and worship ministry in Nebraska. Mark then joined YWAM staff by leading worship and youth trips to Mexico and Eastern Europe. He continued his education with the University of the Nations campuses in Arkansas and Denver, then served at YWAM Orlando as the worship leader and web design specialist. He moved back to Minnesota and served as the Student Ministries Pastor and Associate Minister at ElmCreek Community Church with emphases on worship leading and communications.

Mark is a collector of hobbies and loves learning new skills and new musical instruments. He is a fire-juggler, an extreme unicyclist, and an award-winning magician.  He loves competing in sports and games and tries be a gracious loser as infrequently as is necessary.

Mark enjoys this life-adventure with his wife, Erin, and their two sons Westin and Lincoln, and baby daughter Macy.

Mark’s passion is to skillfully and joyfully use music and the arts to inspire expressed devotion to God in an encounter that leaves us changed and displays the value of God to the world.

Psalm 33:1-3 Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.
