Pastor Jim began his ministry at Osseo Church in the spring of 2001 after pastoring in Albuquerque NM and in southern Ohio. Jim grew up in the suburbs of Kansas City and attended the University of Missouri Kansas City and received a BA in Communications. While in Kansas City, he met his wife Terri, who is from St. Louis and was studying at Mid America Nazarene University. After their marriage in 1988, Jim entered into youth ministry in Texas and went on to attend Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs.
While in Bible College, God gave Jim a tremendous calling to raise up an authentic Christian church that would impact families, communities, and the world. His love and passion for the things of Christ are obvious. He believes Christ’s church should be a bright and radiant vessel that moves out into a community to help the spiritual and emotional well-being of modern day families.
Jim and Terri have two sons. Matthew who is their oldest is very sociable and loves music. God gave them a surprise after sixteen years with their second son Logan. Terri leads the teen group at the church and loves reading and scrap-booking.
