Repositioning and Name Change
God’s Vision Our Mission
The First Move: The Journey to Reach Osseo
In 1929, a group of God-seeking people started a church in Maple Grove near Fish Lake. In the early 1949’s, they saw that the city of Osseo was becoming the business and residential epicenter of the rural region. In 1944, the small congregation made the courageous decision to relocate to Osseo. Since that decision, the church grew with the town. Now, after sixty years of solid ministry in Osseo, a new generation is starting to feel the same need to reposition the church for the future generations to come. With the poor visibility of the current location and the city of Osseo being buried in the growing northwest suburbs, we believe this is the time to step out in faith and reposition the church to impact our community.
Osseo Church is a Courageous Church
In the spring of 2007, the church leaderership challenged the church to see God’s Vision and make it Our Mission for this relocation endeavor to reach the developing city of Dayton. The people of Osseo Church have pledged thousands of dollars to purchase new land that will be visible, accessible, and in a growing area.We believe that as God saw the church’s obedience, He made available 12 acres of prime property at a very good price. This property has everything the church was looking for, plus it is only five miles from the current location (the property is located on the northeast corner of Fernbrook and Elm Creek Road in Dayton). Dayton is the last northwest corridor city to start development, and is expected to have incredible growth in the next twelve years.
Currently our 22,000 sq ft facility in Osseo is for sale. We are working on the design and development phase of our current facility and campus. If you would like more information on leasing or purchasing our current building in Osseo, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
